Milestone Systems Add Hardware Acceleration Feature

To Lastest Version Of Smart Client

Milestone Systems has introduced a new 'Hardware Accerleration' feature in their latest version of Smart Client. This new feature takes advantage of Intel's 'Quick Sync Video' feature that is built into Intel's latest line of CPU's. This feature allows the video rendering component of Smart Client to be off loaded from the main CPU core and processed directly by the on board GPU core. Using this feature can result in up to a 5X performance improvement in rendering video data resulting in smoother and lossless overall video performance in Milestone's Smart Client software.
